trying hard

i think i'm starving myself to death for more than a week as i suffered for a terrible diet. as much as possible, only foods that can easily swallow. damn soft diet! it's not just the teeth that i hate most but those mouth sores due to the brackets that i have.

at home, i am comfortable eating any solid foods whatever it takes pa cause i can handle all the pain as long as i'm on my nest.. but never did i tried to do the same outside... until today.

i had my lunch at tokyo cafe located in venetian mall (mckinley hills). this is the very first time i felt so worried of eating meals. haha! well i think..i have a reason to feel that way cause this is also my first ever pig out after my braces on. so honestly, don't know how to deal with it. start of 'trying hard' acts. there you go =)

i ordered oyako-ju and iced chocolano. i chose this because it is chicken fillet so i'm not having a hard time cutting the meat into pieces (tamad lang haha). and i'm so happy when i saw that my side dish is a veggy salad. hehe. yummy! the foods was so delissshhhh!! i do enjoyed the taste of my first major meal.. maybe because i miss being like this. haha.. (nangungulila na tlga ako sa pagkain hay)

as expected my mate was the first one to finished his meal while i'm on a process of having a hard time swallowing and swallowing and swallowing GENTLY! there's a need for me to be more careful not to place the food in my mouth's sensitive area and my tongue did an excellent job. though the ouch factor and conscious awareness were still there.

tik tok tik tok.. lunch time was over.. didn't empty my plate, but i was full tho.
and that's how my happy meal ended

thanks for the food i ate today and for more to come.. painless i wish =)

boracay walkway...

the past

look what i've found in my auntie nita's old old photo album in bicol. before i begin i just want to make a brief  info about some history.. hehe. my mother was born and raised in ligao city, albay, bicol in the small town of bay just near the rail road and tuburan elementary school. her full name is angelita termino quililan, now since she's a married woman she became angelita quililan-penaranda. here's one unbelievable trivia - my mama have 17  siblings. 11 of them was born alive.. o yeah! whatta big family..

every summer, as much as possible, May, we (together with some relatives here in manila) visit they're hometown in ligao, albay. to see and bond with other quililans and also it's Bay fiesta on 19th of May, giving honor to their patron - St. Joseph.

May 19, 2011 - i flew to legazpi city (albay, bicol) from manila to spend 4 days vacation. and since it's fiesta - i felt so special coz on the day that i came in there's so many foods and happenings...i was so happy to see familiar faces welcomed me =) nice to be back!

going back -- auntie nita showed some old albums, and this pictures make me laugh.. my 3 elder sisters when they are young =) hehe!
i am so happy when i saw this, we don't have old pictures of ourselves cause all of our valuables was vanished by the fire way way back 1997.

i don't have baby pictures sa album na yun.. don't knnow why.. =( sad! maybe because sobrang bata pa ko nyan.. i'm seven yrs younger kay kathy. 2nd to the youngest. hehe.. but it's ok atleast i have they're pictures... i know i can make them laugh.

boracay synopsis

"Awwwwtssss and Shit" are the most famous words for me now. haha! i keep on screaming in my mind since day 1. nevertheless i don't wanna spoil every single day of my vacation because of the pain i have. literally, it's killing me softly. Rarrr!

well, anyhow, back to wer we've been through... we had our helmet diving experienced yesterday and our first ever invasion in station 1 boracay beach. so nice! also we never missed to try jonah's (must try in boracay). and as expected it didn't disappoint me. sarap ng mocha rhum shake =) new fave! kudos!

on our second day here in boracay (thats today), we woke up so early (5am) to hit our first itinerary for today and that was atv going to puka beach. on our way there's an unforgettable scene happened. guess who's the "bida" ? hahaha! i'll make a separate blog to reveal that's story and our complete boracay escapades.

looking forward for more happy beachin' acts for all of us (my accenture and thomson pals)...hope we can do it as 1 group now, i know it's not easy to hold big group all together but as long as we are here...i keep on hoping! haha.. we still have day and a half to make this vacation memorable and ofcourse meet the equilibrium of our satisfactions.

happy boraday guys!!

braces mode on!

seriously...i'm in pain!!!! duhhhhh!! what do i expect. the sad part is - i'm in a loOOoooong vacation this week (not because of my aching teeth) but for my adventureland. Tomorrow i'll be in Boracay til 18th of May..then right after that i have an early flight going to Bicol (mama's hometown). Do you think i made the right decision of putting my braces on?

Oh well, it's all done! haha. funny. tiis ganda ang drama ko for this week.

May 14th, i woke up early because my dentist texted me that she'll be doing my braces na today at 2pm. I agreed considering that i have the above reasons :) naisip ko kasi, if not now kelan pa. haha! ayun lang. So i went to her clinic at Sandico St.

fast forward... while she's in the process of putting each brackets in place, i was so surprised that it didn't hurt, i mean it's tolerable, the only thing that made me feel uncomfy was my saliva that stuck on the other side of my mouth, also the mouth piece that hold my lips away from my teeth and ofcorz the fact that i kept my mouth wide opened for almost 3hrs! whew! ohyeah 3hrs!

i felt that it was not an easy procedure to make.. so i salute all the dentist in the world! such a tiny object that you manage to perfectly attached to every single tooth and keep your patient calm while doing that :) good job dr.babes :)

i'm so excited to see how it looks, so right after we're done, i look at it in the mirror and judge how i look. btw, the color of the rubber i chose is gray. nyaha! actually, what's in my heart is light blue or aqua blue...but my concern was - it may look so obvious if i go with it so in the end - i'm in gray. so metallic aura, nice! bagay naman pala. i look younger daw sabi.

so this is the most important part, while doing some facial expression in front of the mirror and keep on smiling to see if my braces are fitted, one thing came into my mind that makes me so worried.....

how do i enjoy the wonderful world of kissing????!!!!!

bwahahahaha! seriously it is a major concern ha! (aminin) oh well, all things can be learn... nyaha! I can't get over this, i can't figure it out! waaahhh.. laughtrip! pano nga ba?!

enough of that funny part.. i know that this is only the first phase. there's more phases to come. i'll be wearing this for almost 2yrs or if i'm a good patient daw maybe 1 and a half yr. i'll be going along with it every single day and ready myself to hassle.

nice smile :)

i love 7F

i remember the time when i feel so excited to use the elevator whenever i go up/down from our bldg in accenture gateway. if you gonna ask me, how does it feel, well i can say - it feels like i'm eating my favorite afternoon snack when i was a kid, cotton candy and palm size pancake (tinda outside school) whoooaa! so sarap!

sweet memories from the past i couldn't believe that it's all coming back to me when the elevator stopped and opened its door on the 7F. suddenly, my heart beats so fast and my feet was off the ground. oh yes, (you heard it right!) i was floating in the air. hahaha! Soooo high school! it was like that when i first saw the guy on the 7F.

since then, i've always find ways to see him. looking forward everyday to cross our paths again, or hoping to stuck in the elevator with him (*cross fingers) haha!

my crazy little thing admiration are well known on our floor ( 9th). well, i didn't hide it in the first place. i am so vocal on how i feel esp when i'm with my friends and because of that they became my reliable sources. they support my kalokahan and even help me to fish infos bout him. i was able to know his real name but i prefer to call him "7th".

others may say "7 is just a number"
but for me, "7th is not just a number, its my favorite crush"

guadalupe, guadalupe- such a crowded place. we pass through this place from market-market going to PRC sta.ana via guadalupe jeep. i can't go to this place alone - not YET. Oh well, the reason why i'm writing right now is to narrate how guadalupe changed my look.

first time ever - short hair na nga with bangs pa! haha

i got my hair done in guadalupe. small salon that we forgot to even see the name of that salon. haha!
just a spur of a moment and charannnnn... here is the outcome!

read my other blog about it in my tumblr account : http://kristylpenaranda.tumblr.com/post/5161361747/
